영국의 인종차별 당한 이야기와 후기

안녕하세요. 우선 여러분들께 감사하다는 말씀을 전해드리고 싶습니다. 몇시간 전 2명의 용의자들이 검거 되었다고 경찰측으로 부터 연락을 받았습니다. 한국, 영국뿐만이 아니라 전세계에 계신 분들의 관심과 제보덕분에 수사가 이토록 빨리 진행이 된 것 같아 정말 다시한번 감사의 말씀을 드립니다. 첫번째로 정말 많은 브라이튼 현지 시민분들께서 적극적으로 범인들을 검거하는데에 있어서 끊임없이 용의자들로 추측되는 사람들의 사진들을 보내주셨고 많은 분들이 응원의 메시지를 해주셨습니다. 두번째로, 대학교측에서는 다방면의 협조로 법적, 신체적, 심리적 등의 도움을 주셨고 앞으로의 아시안 뿐만이 아닌 모든 외국학생에게 안정적인 학교생활을 약속해 주었습니다. 세번째로, 대사관측쪽에서는 발빠른 대처로 정말 많은 도움을 주셨습니다. 박현수 영사님, 김종하 주무관님이 브라이튼으로 직접 오셔서 사건 현장, 경찰, 학교 등을 직접 방문하셔서 적극적인 수사와 제 후배의 학업적인 문제들에 관해 학교 이사측과 상의를 하며 마치 자신의 가족들의 일인것 처럼 큰 도움을 주셨습니다. 정말 감사드립니다!! 네번째로, 영국정부측으로 부터 적극적인 수사와 비자문제 해결을 약속 받았습니다. 마지막으로 저희가 드리고 싶은 말은 지금 현재 많은 분들께서 상상하시던 영국의 이미지가 많이 변질 된 것 같아 마음이 아픕니다. 이러한 케이스는 정말 극히 드문 일이므로 영국에 대한 비판적인 시각은 가져주시지 않았으면 합니다. 정말 많은 영국분들께서 용의자들을 대신한 사과의 말, 응원의 메시지, 그리고 후원을 아낌없이 해주셨습니다. 이러한 사고가 더이상 발생하지 않았으면 하는 바람입니다. 감사합니다!! 

Hello everyone. First of all, I would like to express my massive gratitude to everyone. Couple of hours ago, We have just got the message from the police that 2 of the suspects have been arrested. Not only Korean and English people but because of all the people around the globe's attention and reports, it had helped the investigation to progress in a rapid speed. Firstly, so many citizens of Brighton have sent us the cheering messages and reported about the suspects. Secondly, the University of Sussex helped us in a diverse aspects(legally, physically, mentally and etc.) and they have promised us the secure of every international students in Sussex. Thirdly, the members of the South Korea Embassy has come down from London to Brighton by themselves to help us to resolve this accident. They have visited the accident site, police station, and the Uni with us and gave us so much help. Special thanks to Park Hyun Soo Consul and Jongha Kim consular officer. They have treated this case just as if was the problem of their family. Fourthly, from English Government, they have promised us the active investigation. Lastly, what we would like to say is that we are very sad to see the people who has changed their original image about England negatively. This kind of case is very rare and does not really happen often. Therefore, we would like say please do not judge English people and the country by just looking at this case. A number of people has sent the apologies instead of the attackers, cheering messages, and supports so much. We hope this kind of case would never ever happen again. Thank you so much!!!
